While simulating expense plans, I thought that it would be useful if there was a tool for people unfamiliar with the spreadsheet. I decided to build a simple web service “survival calculator”.
You can input your saving and expected monthly side income. With your expected spending, it calculates how long you can survive. Yes. It’s just a macro that generates result. If I can collect user input and analyze, more helpful features would be available.
For development, I chose FlutterFlow. Flutterflow is a no-code service to build and deploy Flutter apps. Even though it also required some amount of time to get familiar with this tool. It was easier than learning Flutter. FlutterFlow is a good option for the simple service or POC-level demo.
I used DALL.E to generate a thumbnail image. The result was better than I expected. I queried ‘8bit pixel that burns money on the campfire’.
